Prince Harry has faced another setback following a heated statement released by the Duke of Sussex and Meghan Markle.

The head of a conservative think-tank has announced that he plans to encourage Donald Trump to deport Harry should any evidence surface indicating that the royal provided false information on his US immigration documents.

Nile Gardiner, the director of the Margaret Thatcher Center for Freedom, made these remarks following a heated statement from Harry and Meghan, in which they condemned Meta for discontinuing its fact-checking initiative.

Gardiner informed the Daily Beast that the couple's engagement in this "highly political issue" would heighten the examination of Harry's immigration status.

Gardiner stated, "If he was untruthful on his application, he ought to be deported," calling it "an issue of clear transparency."

In September 2024, a judge decided that Prince Harry's US visa application would remain confidential, despite Gardiner's firm position on the matter.

In a statement released on Sussex.com, Harry and Meghan criticized Meta for lacking "integrity" and being "profoundly misleading" in its choice to discontinue fact-checking.

The pair asserted that the social media behemoth was "permitting either ambition or financial gain, probably a combination of both, to influence choices that impact billions."

Meghan and Harry issued a furious statement regarding Meta ending its third-party fact-checking

They called on "those facilitating Meta's earnings" to pressure the company to alter its direction.

The Archewell Foundation also contended that Meta's actions "significantly threaten free expression."

Gardiner, a researcher at the Heritage Foundation, described it as "extremely inappropriate" for people with royal titles to engage in a "controversial political issue."

"Engaging in overtly political issues is, to be honest, highly inappropriate for members of the Royal Family. It violates royal protocol," he stated in an interview with The Daily Beast.

Nile Gardiner informed GB News that The Heritage Foundation is seeking the release of Prince Harry's visa records.

He contended that although the couple is no longer part of the working royals, they still prominently display their titles to "proactively promote their initiatives."

"Gardiner remarked that their utilization of these titles to advance their own personal and political goals undermines the Royal Family's traditional stance of neutrality."

Gardiner has been spearheading a legal initiative via the Heritage Foundation to obtain the release of Harry's immigration records, in light of the prince's confessions regarding drug use in his memoir, Spare.

The Foundation sought to determine whether Harry had either falsified information on his visa applications or had been granted special privileges by the Biden administration.

Donald Trump may consider reinstating an inquiry into the US visa paperwork of Prince Harry.

"I believe that these documents will be made public in due time, probably with the new US administration," Gardiner stated.

He disclosed his personal link to Trump by saying: "I had several meetings with Donald Trump at the White House during his initial term, and should I have the chance to meet him once more, I will wholeheartedly advocate for the release of Harry's immigration documents."

GB News has reached out to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex for their response.
